משתלת צוף הרים                             

 

 

 

 

כחובב טבע מושבע, וכמי שעוסק בקירוב הציבור הדתי - חרדי לטבע, אני מגדל צמחים.

לכן טבעי היה שאשלב בעבודות האבן שלי צומח וצמחים.

את הצמחים אני מגדל, לרוב, בעצמי במשתלה קטנה שברשותי.

הצמחים אינם נמכרים בנפרד, אלא רק כחלק מהעבודות שלי.

 

אני מקפיד שהצמחים שאני משלב בעבודות האבן שלי יעמדו בדרישות הבאות:

א – שהצמח לא יהיה מצמחי הנוי הזרים הלא-רצויים בישראל, שהם צמחים בעלי פוטנציאל פלישה במערכות אקולוגיות טבעיות בישראל.

מין צמח פולש הוא מין צמח שהיגר, התבסס והתפשט באזור הנמצא מחוץ לתחום תפוצתו הטבעי כתוצאה מהתערבות אדם, ושגורם לשינויים ולנזק לסביבה החדשה אליה הגיע ולמינים המקומיים בה.

הגינון בצמחי נוי זרים מהווה את אחד המקורות העיקריים להפצת מיני צמחים פולשים אל המערכות האקולוגיות הטבעיות בישראל.

 

ב – שהצמחים יהיו קלים לגידול, ישרדו ימים רבים בלי מים (צמחים אוגרי מים), כלומר יהיו חסכנים במים, ויהיו בעלי עלים צבעוניים וצורות פיסוליות מרהיבות.

צמחים כאלה הם הצמחים הסוקולנטיים והקקטוסים.
